From Merry O'l England to Bollywood

Fear Not. What is not real, never was and never will be.
What is real, always was and cannot be destroyed.
-The Bhagavad Gita, as translated by Eknath Easwaran

Woohoo~
Despite having so many things on during the weekend, God has allowed me to overcome the odds and now i am on top! :D Praise God!

Initially i thought that i would not be able to go catch Bride and Prejudice with my friend because of that IBM essay which is due tomorrow...yeaah...my procrestination at work...but i managed to finish it on saturday morning not the forget the fact that i even had time to catch the final repeat episode of Liu Xing Hua Yuan xp...buah hahaha
Me thinks that i am not the only one to be procrestinating, right Yang Mui? Heh~ But at least we got it done liao and off our backs...the only thing now is whether we will have to redo the darn thing...choi-choi!
The result of finishing my essay: Watching the movie and going for choir practise!
I learnt how to sing a new song during the session and we still have to learn another two more before the 19th of Dec O.O Tight schedule xia~

Today, i went for the usual morning service and had to rush home and rush back to church with my badminton gear...then rush down to Paya Lebar Kovan CC for the badminton itself. Hwew...can't believe i am still able to type all this down after having so little sleep/rest during the past few days...hrrrrmmmmm...since wednesday in fact~ Hahaa

Ok...backtrack...to...Bride and Prejudice...
India and England don't have that much difference in the way they did and still do things...India is protrayed more like a olden England...that's why everything seemed to click in the updated setting.
Honestly the whole movie was very farcical and at times it seemed to be more like a tourism commercial for India, England and L.A. I have no idea if the director ment the movie to be serious or not...but it was more like a dramady coz me and me friend spent more than half the movie laughing our heads off :D
The actor playing Darcy kinda grew on me... i don't mind being match-made to him ...any day man...any day...hahaahaa
Pride and prejudice being my fav. Jane Austin book, i guess i am very critical of every show that tries to adapt it. I still feel that the verson staring Colin Firth is still the best adaptation...*sigh~*

Still can't believe that Kelly and Charmaine are going to the Jay concert!!!! I told Char that i would call her during the thing since she got free incoming calls....hahahhaha

Yang Mui ah~
Your the joke very the -_-;;...the crows keep flying by xia~

A Level peeps:
Last lap liao... All the best!!!!!! *waves pom-poms*

O O O O....before i forget...i got another song to add to my list:

Seether - Broken (featuring Amy Lee)
[Seether]
(Verse 1)
I wanted you to know
That I love the way you laugh
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain …away
I keep your photograph
And I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain

[Seether & Amy Lee]
(Chorus 1)
cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

[Seether]
(Bridge)
You've gone away
You don't feel me here....anymore

[Amy Lee]
(Verse 2)
The worst is over now
And we can breathe again
I wanna hold you high, you steal my pain away
There's so much left to learn
And no one left to fight
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain

[Seether & Amy Lee]
(Chorus 2)
cause I'm broken when I'm open
And I don't feel like I am strong enough
cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

[Instruments]

[Seether & Amy Lee]
(Chorus 2)
cause I'm broken when I'm open
And I don't feel like I am strong enough
cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

[Seether & Amy Lee]
(Chorus 1)
cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone [Seether]...away

[Seether and Amy Lee]
(Bridge)You're gone away
You don't feel me here....anymore

The song is kinda dark...but i liiiikkkeeeee :D Heehee...

Tomorrow is another gift from God...can't wait to unwrap it!
Cheers all!
